   Please PRAY for my friend Twana, who was diagnosed with cancer in both lungs this past week. My heart is so heavy and it's really hard to not question, but I know, God knows the plan.
   
   Twana has visited Crossroads with me a couple of times and was working on her daughter & son-in-law to come and visit as she knows that only through Jesus' grace & sacifice can we find true acceptance and peace.
   
   Twana and I have been friends for almost 30 years and are both pretty hard-headed-quick tempered yet we have never had a cross word nor argument, and have been there, without question for each other. Sorry this is so long but I just really want everyone to know my friend and to PRAY, PRAY, PRAY for my buddy. Selfishly of me, I ask you to say a small little prayer for me, 'cause this is a hard one for me, I need her here for a little longer, say a hundred years or so. I thank you in advance for lifting her up in prayer and help us all pray only for God's Will and our acceptance.

   "WONDERFUL NEWS!!!!!!! Thank God!!
   
   All the prayers and blessings,warm wishes and love sent to our sweet baby Gabe are working!! He has awoken from his coma and is breathing on his own!! They have removed the ventilator and he is sucking on his little fist.They are going to let him take a bottle. I am so hopeful that soon he will be better.!!! Of course they are still cautious and will watch him very close.
   The doctors say he most likely will remain in PICU for a couple days and then they can let him got to a private room. Wow this move to childrens hospital turned out to be a good thing! Thank everyone for prayers and beautiful messages. I feel so hopeful and happy,i can not wait to hold him.

   please pray for Cindy Clay, a friend and co-worker, she has a rare form of breast cancer, and is in stage 2, she is going through kemo now, she has already had both breasts removed from a previous battle with a different form of breast cancer. please pray for her physical and mental well being and strength during this time, the drs. said it will be a tough battle, she is a christian and staying positive.

   Hello everyone...I apologize for the "mass" message, but I did not want to post this on my status, as the topic of this is quite painful for family members I have on my list. As some of you may know, Mark's cousin, Becky has been in a coma since March 25, two days after giving birth to her first and only child, William. Becky developed Post-Partum Cardiomyopathy, which resulted in a stroke, a heart attack, and brain damage to the extent that she is clinically brain dead. Becky's ventilator was removed over a week ago, and although she has been able to breathe on her own, her brain function has stopped and on Tuesday of this week, they removed her feeding tube. As of today, her body has started to shut down. Mark and I are leaving on a week long trip to Michigan, and I pray she holds on until we return. I am asking that you all pray for a peaceful journey for Becky, and for strength for her husband Ron and most of all, please pray for her little baby William, that he may grow up to always know how much his Mother loved him. Becky was only able to see and hold her son for one day and I pray that he will always feel that love. I will keep you all updated as I learn anything. Thank you all very much!!! - Laura "

   Please pray that God will send our church a "webmaster" to help us keep our website up to date. There are several significant projects that we want to do that require someone with real knowledge of developing websites. Please ask God to send us this person and that they will have a real heart for what God is doing at the Crossroads! Thank you for your prayers.

   I want to give thanks to Jesus for answering some important prayers and thank all of you who have prayed for us:
   
   First, Virginia has pretty much completely recovered from the meningitis and the spinal head aches she was getting from the spinal tap leak. Thank you Lord for this.
   
   Also we saw the neurosurgeon yesterday and he feels that her degenerative bone disease can probably be treated with some physical rehab and she probably doesn't need surgery. This is huge, thank you God.
   
   Finally I've been praying about work and our strained relationship with our biggest client. Last week, even with me out of the office and working from home, we exceeded their expectations in a big way and set a new sales record. Thank you so much, Lord.
   
   
   It's amazing how the Lord provides.
   
   
   I want to thank everyone who prayed and I want to pray that Virginia continues to recover.

   Please pray for Alan Nevil and his family. Alan was seriously injured and his wife was murdered this week in Garland. Alan is still in serious but stable condition at Baylor Hospital and faces more surgery this week.
   
   Due to the extreme nature of the attack the news media has been relentlessly contacting family members and that is just adding to their stress. So please pray also for his son Alan Jr, daughter Susan, brother Ricky, sister in law Charlotte, sister Fran and mother Dorothy.
   
   
   I work with Alan's sister in law and she has asked for your prayers on behalf of the family. The road to recovery will be very long and difficult but I know our Lord and Savior is able.

    Please pray for Patrick Bandy who was admitted to the hospital last night with pancreatitis. Also he has gall stones and kidney stones and he is in severe pain. Patrick suffers from Crohn's disease and he needs our prayers for healing and comfort. Thank you for joining me in prayer for him.

    Early this morning a family down the street from me lost their house and everything in it to a fire. Thankfully no one was in it or hurt. Please pray that they are able to recover from this loss.

    Please pray for a 9 month old boy named Cable. He had a seizure and fell and now has a fractured skull. Let's pray for wisdom for the doctor's caring for this young man, and also pray that he will recover completely. Thank you.

    Jim Kelly has asked us to pray for him a job. Please ask God to provide in this circumstance. Also, his uncle Dusty has cancer. Let's pray that God would heal this disease and remove it completely from uncle Dusty!! Lord we ask that these things be done in your perfect will!     Please pray for Annika Dvorsky, she has strep throat on top of several other bronchial conditions. She is on a cycle of anti-biotics now, so pray that they will be effective.

    Please pray for Ted Mackey, he has been diagnosed with nasal pharyngeal (sinus cancer), he is looking at radiation and chemo treatment. Please ask God to heal him and to calm him as he is facing this ordeal.

    I just got home from the hospital after getting IV fluids and nausea medicine. I not only ask for prayers for myself but i ask for God's blessings for my employers. David and Daphne Sydney. Without their help I would really be financial trouble.

    Please continue to pray for my cousins husband, Jerry Harlow. He has 3 more weeks of radiation for the brain tumor in his frontal lobes. The doctor said he had more mental clarity this week. He has begun losing his hair. He was told this probably would not happen.

    Hey Crossroads family!
    This is Hailey Mullins! I have been seeking the Lord so hard on what I need to do this summer, whether that traveling with Clear again or pursuing something else! India has been on my heart for about a year now and specifically a ministry called Karunya Ministries who adopts children from the slums! Anyways I received this email from Kent about prayer requests and it couldn't have come at a better time!
    
    Sorry I am so bad about cutting to the chase.. my prayer request is that God would open and close doors and make it so clear what I am supposed to do this summer, and of course that He will move in the lives of the people in India regardless if I am there or not! they have so many needs both physical (clean water, food, shelter, clothes) and spiritual for most of them are Hindu and idol worshiping is completely normal!
    
    I love you all and I will be praying along side of you!!!

    Please pray for my cousin Irene and her husband Jerry. He is getting progressively worse after completing his radiation and chemotherapy. We know that God is in control and Irene's faith is strong. they also have a 24 year old son with Asperger's.

    The horrific tornado that went through Joplin, Mo last night has brought on upsetting news today for the Justin Brands, Inc. family at this time we have one confirmed death and one missing co-worker from our plant in the neighboring town. Please put their families and the city of Joplin “what’s left of it” in our prayer chain, as soon as I can get confirmation as to total numbers and names I will forward them on to you.

    Please pray for Joe Guerra's niece, Eryn Zarate, she was hit by a car this afternoon and is in Children's hospital in Dallas. She is in Dallas visiting for summer vacation. Please pray that she has a complete and full recovery and that there is no permanent damage. Thanks for your prayers.
